Concert Parking for Allianz Amptitheater and Brown’s Island

How do I reserve a parking space in advance & then what happens after I do?

About a few shows into the inaugural concert season at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront, it seems safe to say that parking (on-street or off)  is plentiful for concerts, either weeknight or weekend. This includes a couple of sell outs and one night that overlapped with a Brown’s Island concert. This week, however, will see the biggest name (sorry, Neil Young) on the calendar showing up for two consecutive nights – Dave Matthews Band. This is a group that routinely plays 25,000 capacity sheds, or three Allianz Amps put together.

It’s a hot ticket, duh, and given the ability to hear and see the show from the back of the venue, the crowds should be big. Or, at least we assume the crowds to be big, but again, there is plenty of parking & there’s a way to review options and make a parking choice before even heading to the show:

Once a reservation is completed for a specific location, the license plate information is synced with CityParking’s parking enforcement handhelds. Our staff is provided a list of reservations prior to events to ensure that spaces are allocated for and not resold.
