Parking Options for Richmond Folk Festival
Richmond Folk Festival is happening on October 10-12 this year. With over 2,000 parking spaces within a 10 block walk to the festival site, we hope that finding a parking space is easy and convenient.
Pro Tips
- Credit only. NO CASH. All of our surface parking locations use payment systems that require a phone. Either pay through an app, like ParkMobile, or scan the QR codes on the signs (like ParkWhiz. Make sure to enter the license plate correctly.
- Locations near 5th St entrance tend to fill up on Saturday and Sunday by early afternoon. We recommend finding locations closer to 2nd St or 7th St festival entrances during midday. By Saturday evening, there is enough turnover that all locations should have available parking.
- Cost: $10-20, depending on location. 5th St is more expensive than 2nd St locations.
- Our team will be wearing CityParking uniforms. They can assist with payments and directions but will also be writing citations on vehicles that did not pay.
